According to the "Operation and Maintenance Regulations for Photovoltaic Power Stations", photovoltaic panels need to be cleaned regularly to maintain their efficiency. Clean and tidy photovoltaic panels can absorb solar energy more effectively, improve power generation efficiency, and reduce energy losses caused by the accumulation of foreign matter such as dust and bird droppings. At the same time, regular cleaning and maintenance can also extend the service life of photovoltaic panels and reduce overall operating costs.

In front of the main building of the Greater Bay Area Data Application Industrial Park, an innovative demonstration drew widespread attention — a professional drone equipped with a high-pressure sprayer and rotating brush steadily took off, hovering close to the glass curtain wall of the high-rise. As the operator adjusted the controls, the drone began an automated cleaning process, spraying cleaning solution and scrubbing away years of accumulated dust. Within moments, the dull façade started to regain its original shine — a vivid example of how low-altitude economy is reshaping urban services.
